Infertility in Men

Infertility-in-Men

Laos Fertility knows infertility occurs in men too. The 3 main common problems with infertility in men are problems with ejaculation or erection, problems with the small, fine tract ducts, and problems with sperm production. Out of the 3, problems with sperm production is the most common infertility issue in men. We would like to provide men with tips on what they can do to improve sperm production.

First, Laos Fertility recommends that men wear loose clothing and loose underwear such as boxers. It is very important to keep your testicles cool. Often, doctors find that men who wear tighter underwear tend to have sperm production problems. What happens is the testicles heat up more and that is what kills sperm. Men’s testicles should be kept cooler so sperm is more viable. Also sitting long hours in one place such as in an office is bad for a man’s sperm. If you sit long hours at a desk, you should get up and walk around every hour.

We recommend if you smoke you should stop. Smoking is the worst thing for male fertility. Nicotine and other toxins found in cigarettes disrupt and harm a male’s hormones and cause an imbalance thus causing infertility problems. Even second hand smoke is bad. Doctors found that smokers overall had a much lower sperm count than non-smokers and sperm quality and mobility were much less.

Fitness and lifestyle are very important. Laos Fertility recommends that men with fertility problems should examine at their diet. Are you eating too much red meat and not enough fruits and vegetables? Fruits and vegetables are high in vitamin C and E. These two vitamins are extremely important for healthy sperm production. An increase in these daily vitamins will greatly help in a man’s sperm production. Additionally, zinc and selenium are good too. We recommend that men with fertility problems should take a multi-vitamin and exercise daily.

Finally, Laos Fertility recommends that men should not drink alcoholic beverages often. Alcohol greatly reduces sperm production. It negatively affects sperm count, quality, and mobility. Men who drink often will always have a reduced sperm count. Therefore, limiting your alcohol intake is extremely important if you want healthy sperm.

We hope these tips will help men increase their fertility success rate and be able to get their spouse pregnant soon.
